For the Lord most high is terrible, a great King over all the earth
1-1-2015 Psalm 149:2 "Let Israel
rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King" Isaiah 43:15 "I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel,
your King" Isaiah 44:6
"Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel,
and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me no
God" Zephaniah 3:14-15 "14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast
out thine enemy: the king of Israel, the
LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more" Zechariah 9:9 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold,
thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding
upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass" Matthew 1:18-25 "18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together,
she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a
publick example, was minded to put her away privily.20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying,
Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call
his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.22 Now all this was done, that it be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring
forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden
him, and took unto him his wife:25 And
knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS" Jesus = Joshua or Jehoshua
="Jehovah is salvation" Matthew 2:1-6 "1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the
king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and
are come to worship him.3 When Herod
the king had heard, he was troubled, and
all Jerusalem with him.4 And when
he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ be born.5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for
thus it is written by the prophet,6 And
thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for
out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel" Christ = "anointed" Luke 4:16-21 "16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue
on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place
where it was written,18 *The Spirit of
the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the
poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised,19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister,
and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in
your ears" *Isaiah 61:1-3 John 1:43-49 "43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and
Peter.45 Philip findeth Nathanael,
and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of
Joseph.46 And Nathanael said unto
him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite
indeed, in whom is no guile!48 Nathanael
saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under
the fig tree, I saw thee.49 Nathanael
answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel" John 10:22-33
"22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast
of the dedication, and it was winter.23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the
Christ, tell us plainly.25 Jesus
answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep,
as I said unto you.27 My sheep hear
my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.29 My Father, which gave me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pluck out
of my Father's hand.30 I and Father are one.31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father;
for which of those works do ye stone me?33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a
man, makest thyself God" Isaiah 48:17 "Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the
LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way thou go" John 12:12-16 "12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard
that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,13 Took
branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the
King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's
colt.16 These things understood not
his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him" Mark 14:55-64 "55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put
him to death; and found none.56 For
many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is
made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.59 But neither so did their witness agree together.60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest
thou nothing? what is these witness against thee?61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked
him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power,
and coming in the clouds of heaven.63 Then
the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty
of death" John 18:28-38
"28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas
unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they be defiled; but
that they eat the passover.29 Pilate
then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered
him up unto thee.31 Then said Pilate
unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to
put any man to death:32 That the
saying of Jesus be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and
said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have
delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then my servants fight, that I not
be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a
king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I bear witness unto the truth. Every one that
is of the truth heareth my voice.38 Pilate
saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in
him no fault" Mark 15:6-14 "6 Now at that feast he released
unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.7 And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.8 And the multitude crying aloud began to desire as he had ever done unto them.9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release
unto you the King of the Jews?10 For
he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.11 But the chief priests moved the people, that he rather release Barabbas unto them.12 And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What
will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.14 Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he
done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him" John 19:13-20
"13 When Pilate therefore heard
that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the
Hebrew, Gabbatha.14 And it was the
preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!15 But they cried out, Away with him,
away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief
priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.17 And he bearing
his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is
called in the Hebrew Golgotha:18 Where
they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on
the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was
nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin" Mark
15:25-32 "25 And it was the third hour,
and they crucified him.26 And the
superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on
his left.28 And the scripture was
fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.29 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest
the temple, and buildest it in three days,30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the
scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we see and believe. And they that were crucified
with him reviled him" Luke
24:13-35 "13 And, behold, two of them
went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem threescore furlongs.14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.16 But their eyes were holden that they know not him.17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art
thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto
him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered
him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.21 But we trusted that it had been he which have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day
since these things were done.22 Yea,
and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also
seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and
to enter into his glory?27 And beginning
at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went:
and he made as though he would have gone further.29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And
he went in to tarry with them.30 And
it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and
brake, and gave to them.31 And their
eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with
us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them
that were with them,34 Saying, The
Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how
he was known of them in breaking of bread" Isaiah 33:22 "For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will
save us" Isaiah 45:17-25 "17 Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed
nor confounded world without end.18 For
thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created
it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and none else.19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto
the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven
image, and pray unto a god cannot
save.21 Tell ye, and bring near; yea, let them take counsel together: who
hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; none beside me.22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God,
and none else.23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my
mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall
bow, every tongue shall swear.24 Surely,
shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: to him shall come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified,
and shall glory" Isaiah 12: "1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned
away, and thou comfortedst me.2 Behold,
God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also
is become my salvation.3 Therefore
with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among
the people, make mention that his name is exalted.5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known
in all the earth.6 Cry out and
shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel
in the midst of thee" Psalm
24:8 "Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle" Romans 5:6-11
"6 For when we were yet without strength,
in due time Christ died for the ungodly.7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of
his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through
our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement" 1 Corinthians 1:23-31 "23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,
Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many
wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble,27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen
the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:29 That no flesh glory in his presence.30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord" Jeremiah 9:23-24 "23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty glory in his might, let not the rich glory in his riches:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in
these I delight, saith the LORD" Isaiah 49:22-26 "22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles,
and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon shoulders.23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee
with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou
shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for
me.24 Shall the prey be taken from
the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be
delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall
be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob" Romans 2:28-29 "28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:29 But he a
Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision of the heart, in the spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God" Romans
9:6-14 "6 Not as though the word of
God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.9 For this is the
word of promise, at this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived
by one, by our father Isaac;11 (For being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God
according to election stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.14 What shall we say then? unrighteousness with God? God forbid" Jacob becomes
Israel in Genesis 32:27-28 "27 And
he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob,
but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed" Read Isaiah 43 whole
chapter Romans 7: 24-25 "24 O
wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve
the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin" 1 timothy 1:15 "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world
to save sinners; of whom I am chief" Romans 3:27-31 "27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith
without the deeds of the law.29 the
God of the Jews only? not also of
the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:30 Seeing one God, which shall
justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law" Galatians
3:3-6 "3 Even as Abraham believed God,
and it was accounted to him for righteousness.4 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.5 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through
faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations
be blessed.6 So then they which be
of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham" Who shall lay any thing
to the charge of God's elect? God
that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession
for us. Who shall separate us from
the love of Christ? Tribulation, or distress,
or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the
slaughter. Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things
present, nor things to come, nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. 4-25-2017 Psalm
24:10 "Who is this King of glory? The
LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah." He brought forth his people with joy, his chosen with gladness. Thus saith the Lord: This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew
forth my praise. Every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory,
I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
PRAISE
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
