the power thereof: from such turn away" Verse 5 "Having a form of godliness" = Freewill
of man doctrine believers higly steemed in the eyes of men. They teach that mankind has the ultimate power/control for the
Salvation of the soul; a Salvation by works, therefore denying the finished work of Christ for His people.
Matthew
23: 25-29 "25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter,
but within they are full of extortion and excess.26 blind Pharisee, cleanse first that within the cup and platter, that the
outside of them be clean also.27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres,
which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead bones, and of all uncleanness.29 Even so ye also outwardly
appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity" Only water
(Jesus) out of the wells of Salvation will make clean the inside of the cup and platter.
Revelation 3:9-12 "9
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make
them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience,
I also will keep thee from the hour of *temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar
in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city

*Temptation = Greek 1) an experiment, attempt, trial, proving. 2)
the trial of man's fidelity, integrity, virtue, constancy. 3) adversity, affliction, trouble: sent by God and serving to test
or prove one's character, faith, holiness.
Daniel 12:1-13 "1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the
great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of *trouble, such as never was since
there was a nation to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written
in the book.2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame
everlasting contempt.3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness
as the stars for ever and ever.4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, to the time of the end: many shall
run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this
side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.6 And said to the man clothed in linen,
which upon the waters of the river, How long the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which upon
the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever
that for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these
shall be finished.8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what the end of these?9 And he said, Go thy
way, Daniel: for the words closed up and sealed till the time of the end..10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried;
but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.11 And from the time
the daily shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days.12
Blessed, he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.13 But go thou thy way till the
end : for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days"
*Trouble = Hebrew 1) straits, distress,
trouble.
Daniel 12 verse 4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, to the time of the end:
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased" The time of the end = In
the last days many shall run to and fro looking for the truth. Knowledge shall be increased = knowledge of
the Word of God, especially the truth of God's Salvation (God is in control)
Daniel 12 verse 10 "Many shall
be purified, and made white, and *tried" = God's chosen people are purified by His truth. *Tried
= Hebrew Qal 1) to smelt, refine, test.
Ephesians 5:25-27 "25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also
loved the church, and gave himself for it;26 That he sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,27 That
he present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it be holy and without
blemish"
Revelation 7:13-14 "13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which
are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they
which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb"
Daniel 12 verse 10 2nd part "But the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand" = Freewill
of man doctrine believers will trust in their doings or their wealth and blame others or themselves when they are tried (tested)
and at the end cursed God for their afflictions.
Revelation 16:8-9 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon
the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with *great heat, and blasphemed the
name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory" *great
heat = trials and tribulations of the last days.
Jeremiah 6:14 "They have healed also the hurt
of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when no peace"
Daniel 12 last part of verse 10 "But the wise shall understand" = As an elect/chosen of God, I do not
find peace in what I do; but in what Christ has done for my soul.
1 Timothy 1:15 "This a faithful saying,
and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief"
Psalm
86:13 "For great thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered
my soul from the lowest hell"
Daniel 12 verse 11 "the abomination that maketh desolate set up" =
Mark 13:14 "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains"
Abomination
of desolation is when Christians believe that a decision or acceptance of man is necessary for Salvation. When this belief
happen in the heart of man, Satan is standing where it ought not (the heart of man) like the Most High.
Isaiah
14:12-15 "12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! art thou cut down to the ground, which didst
weaken the nations!13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars
of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:14 I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit)
God's
elect/chosen people do not make a decision or accept Christ; it is the opposite: God made the decision and accepted His people
in the Beloved before the foundation of the world

Psalm 37:39 "But the salvation
of the righteous, of the LORD: their strength in the time of trouble"
Ephesian
1:4-6 "4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we be holy and without blame
before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good
pleasure of his will,6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved"
Psalm 118:15 "The voice of rejoicing and salvation in the tabernacles of the righteous:
the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly"
In these last days the spirit of the antichrist rules the world;
mankind believes he has control of his destiny by what he does and will not trust in the Salvation that is according to God's
word: salvation of sinners, chosen sinners; chosen by God. Zephaniah 2:3 "Seek ye the LORD,
all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it be ye shall be hid in the
day of the LORD'S anger"
Matthew 11:19 "The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold
a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified
of her children"
Wisdom is Christ, and He is justified (declare/proclaim His work satisfies God's justice)
by those whom He has clothed with the garments of Salvation to the praise of His Grace; adopted in His family according to
the good pleasure of God's will.
