1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God
is love"
Romans 13:8 "Owe no man any thing,
but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law"
John
15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay
down his life for his friends"
Mark 12:28-31 "28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning
together, and perceiving that he (Jesus) had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?29 And Jesus
answered him, The first of all the commandments: "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:30 And thou shalt love
the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength" this the
first commandment.31 And the second like: "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" There is none other commandment
greater than these"
Matthew 5:43-48 "43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour,
and hate thine enemy.44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and
pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;45 That ye be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.46 For if ye love
them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what
do ye more? do not even the publicans so?48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect"
Matthew 7:12 "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is
the law and the prophets"
Luke 6:27-38 "27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good
to them which hate you,28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.29 And unto him that smiteth
thee on the cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not coat also.30 Give to every man that
asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask not again.31 And as ye would that men do to you, do ye also to them
likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.33 And if
ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.34 and if ye lend of whom ye
hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.35 But love ye your enemies,
and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest:
for he is kind unto the unthankful and the evil.36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.37 Judge not,
and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:38 Give, and it
shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again"
Verse
38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men
give into your bosom" I am giving of my spiritual blessings and I am experiencing (by God's grace) the good measure,
pressed down and shaken together and running over for God's glory. Romans 12:19-21 "19 Dearly
beloved, avenge not yourselves, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the
Lord.20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of
fire on his head.21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good" If you believe
in the freewill of man doctrine, you are mine enemy. If you do not know the Christ of the Bible, God Almighty; you are mine
enemy: Jesus is my Bread and Water for you.
1Corinthians 13:4-7 "4 Love suffereth long, is kind; love
envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily
provoked, thinketh no evil;6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;7 Beareth all things, believeth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things" As a sinner I am far from loving the way God
loves His people; but as a child of God (chosen vessel) born of Water (Jesus) the desire to live His love is in my heart,
by His grace and for His glory.
Romans 5:8-10 "8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us.9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
him.10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall
be saved by his life"
1 Timothy 1:15 "This a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ
Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief" I show love and mercy
toward another by proclaiming the truth of God's Salvation.
1 Peter 1:18-23 "18 Forasmuch as ye know that
ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, silver and gold, from your vain conversation by tradition from your fathers;19
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:20 Who verily was foreordained before
the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him
up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope be in God.22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying
the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently:23 Being born
again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever"
Galatians 5:14 "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"
Who is my neighbour? Luke 10:29-37 "29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus,
And who is my neighbour?30 And Jesus answering said, A certain[man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves,
which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded, and departed, leaving half dead.31 And by chance there came down a certain
priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came
and looked, and passed by on the other side.33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw
him, he had compassion,34 And went to, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine; and set him on his own beast, and
brought him to an inn, and took care of him.35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave to the
host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.36 Which
now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?37 And he said, He that shewed mercy
on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise" Verse 30: this certain
man is mankind; the thieves are Satan and his emissaries. John 10:8-10 "8 All that ever came before
me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,
and shall go in and out, and find pasture.10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come
that they have life, and that they have [it] more abundantly" Mankind was stripped
of his raiment and wounded at the fall of Adam. Genesis 3:4-7 "4 And the serpent said unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely die:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be
as gods, knowing good and evil.6 And when the woman saw that the tree good for food, and that it pleasant to the eyes, and
a tree to be desired to make wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and
he did eat.7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and
made themselves aprons" Mankind was stripped of his raiment and wounded at the fall; man
remained physically alive, but became spiritually dead. mankind is half dead.
Luke 10:verses 31 and 32, the priest
and the Levite represent religious men (without the Spirit of God) who know the Law of God or the word of God (the Bible)
but cannot help God's elect, because they come with a Salvation according of works (law of Moses and man's commandments) The
Holy Ghost gives life to God's elect (newness of life).
Romans 7:6 "But now we are delivered from the law,
that being dead wherein we were held; that we serve in newness of spirit, and not the oldness of the letter"
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 "5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but
our sufficiency of God;6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit:
for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life"
John 7:15-19 "15 And the Jews marvelled, saying,
How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that
sent me.17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or I speak of myself.18 He that
speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness
is in him"
Ecclesiastes 7:20 "For not a just man upon earth, that doeth
good, and sinneth not"
Luke 10:verse 33: "A certain Samaritan" This
is Christ and the true believer.
Colosians 2:8-14 "8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and
vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.9 For in him dwelleth all
the fulness of the Godhead bodily.10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:11 In whom
also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the
circumcision of Christ:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with, through the faith of the operation of
God, who hath raised him from the dead.13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened
together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which
was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross"
Psalm 145:8 "The LORD gracious,
and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy"
Luke 10:verse 34
first part "bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine" This is the work of the Holy Ghost
in the lives of God's chosen people, He points us to Christ.
Isaiah 53:5 "But he wounded for our transgressions,
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed"
1 Peter 2:24 "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body
on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were
healed"
The oil is the oil of joy, the joy of Salvation; and the wine is the Gospel,
which is Christ dying for sinners, chosen sinners; chosen by God from before the foundation of the world.
Luke
10:verse 34 second part "set him on his own beast" The beast represent God's chosen people. ass = beast Zechariah 9:9 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout,
O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass"
John 12:14-16 "14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,15 Fear not,
daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.16 These things understood not his disciples at the first:
but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and they had done these things unto
him"
Isaiah 32:20 "Blessed ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth the feet of the ox and the
ass"
Ox and ass = God's chosen people bringing His truth to
the world.
Isaiah 63:14 "As a beast goeth down
into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name"
Luke 10:verse 34 last part "brought him to an inn" The inn is the Lord Jesus Christ; God's elect/chosen
people bring half dead people to Christ for the salvation of their souls.
Matthew 25:34-36 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited
me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me"
Who is my neighbor? Answer: Anybody who does not
know God's Salvation according to His word. "Go and do thou likewise" 1John 4:7-21
"7 Beloved,
let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.8 He that loveth not knoweth not
God; for God is love.9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we
live through him.10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that
he loved us, and sent his Son the propitiation for our sins.11 Beloved, if God so loved us,
we ought also to love one another.12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in
us.13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath
given us of his Spirit.14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.16 And we have known and believed
the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we have boldness in the day of judgment: because
as he is, so are we in this world.18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth
out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.19 We
love him, because he first loved us.20 If a man say, I love God, and
hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not
seen?21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love
his brother also" Psalm
119:41 "VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, thy salvation, according to thy
word"
Ephesians 1:12-14 "12 That we be to the praise of his glory,
who first trusted in Christ.13 In whom ye also, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom
also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until
the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory"
Brethren, I exhort you with much
love to take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word
of God and to make your calling and election sure.
Trust in Christ alone! Mark
9:23-24 "23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things possible to him that believeth.24 And straightway
the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief" Make
this your prayer if you do not trust in Christ alone: "Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief"
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
