The Son of the living God!
Whom say ye that Jesus is? Matthew 16:13-18 "13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi,
he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?14 And they said, Some John the Baptist: some, Elias;
and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?16 And Simon Peter answered
and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon
Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.18 And I say also unto thee,
That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it"
The Rock is Jesus Christ, and within the confession and declaration that Peter made is that the church of Christ is
been built, God's elect/chosen people know that Jesus is the Son of the Living God; which Truth is revealed by the Father
through the Holy Ghost.
John 6:63-69 "63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the
words that I speak unto you, are spirit, and are life.64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the
beginning who they were that believed not, and who would betray him.65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man
can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.66 From that many of his disciples went back, and walked no more
with him.67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we
go? thou hast the words of eternal life.69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God"
Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government
shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace"
Matthew 1:21-23 "21 And she shall bring forth a son, and
thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.22 Now all this was done, that it be fulfilled
which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us"
Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" The Jewish people knew that whosoever would come claiming
that he was the son of God, he would be claiming to be God Himself, the Messiah = the Christ.
John 1:35-41 "35
Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the
Lamb of God!37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following,
and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master) where dwellest
thou?39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about
the tenth hour.40 One of the two which heard John, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.41 He first findeth
his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ"
John 7:14-32 "14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.15 And the Jews marvelled,
saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but
his that sent me.17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or I speak of myself.18
He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness
is in him.19 Did not Moses give you the law, and none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?20 The people answered
and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and
ye all marvel.22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the
sabbath day circumcise a man.23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses not be broken; are
ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?24 Judge not according to the appearance, but
judge righteous judgment.25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?26 But, lo, he speaketh
boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?27 Howbeit we know this man
whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying,
Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.29 But
I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because
his hour was not yet come.31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles
than these which this hath done?32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees
and the chief priests sent officers to take him"
John 10:23-39 "23 And Jesus walked in the temple in
Solomon's porch.24Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the
Christ, tell us plainly.25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name,
they bear witness of me.26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.27 My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them, and they follow me:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck
them out of my hand.29 My Father, which gave me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pluck out of my Father's hand.30
I and Father are one.31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed
you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee
not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in
your law, I said, Ye are gods?35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;36
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of
God?37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that
ye know, and believe, that the Father in me, and I in him.39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of
their hand"
John 11:19-27 "19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning
their brother.20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat in the house.21 Then
said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou
wilt ask of God, God will give thee.23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.24 Martha saith unto him, I know
that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:
he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Believest thou this?27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which cometh into
the world"
Mark 14:55-64 "55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus
to put him to death; and found none.56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.57 And
there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made
with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.59 But neither so did their witness agree together.60
And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what these witness against thee?61
But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the
Son of the Blessed?62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming
in the clouds of heaven.63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?64 Ye have
heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death" Jesus was found guilty because
He claimed to be the Son of God; the same today, most people laugh or do not understand when I declare that God has chosen
His people to Salvation, and I am one of them. Luke 23:1-4 "1 And the whole multitude
of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this perverting the nation, and forbidding
to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the
Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest.4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and the people, I find no fault in
this man"
Matthew 27:37-54 "37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING
OF THE JEWS.38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.39 And they
that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three
days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking, with the
scribes and elders, said,42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from
the cross, and we will believe him.43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the
Son of God.44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.45 Now from the sixth hour there
was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli,
Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?47 Some of them that stood there, when they
heard, said, This calleth for Elias.48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled with vinegar, and put
on a reed, and gave him to drink.49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.50 Jesus, when he
had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the
top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints
which slept arose,53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.54
Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done,
they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God" John 20:21 "But these are written, that
ye believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye have life through his name" 1 John 5:8-13
"8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in
one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified
of his Son.10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;
because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.11 And this is the record, that God
hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath life; he
that hath not the Son of God hath not life.13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of
God; that ye know that ye have eternal life, and that ye believe on the name of the Son of God"
Galatians
2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me"
Hebrews 10:35-39 "35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath
great recompence of reward.36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye receive the promise.37 For yet a little while, and
he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in
him.39 But
we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul" Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen"
Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God and that He die for His people? By God's grace I believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that He died for me!
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
