Amos 8:11-13 "11 Behold, the
days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of
hearing the words of the LORD:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run
to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find [it].13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint
for thirst"
Psalm 63:1 "O God, thou my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth
for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is"
This
famine is spiritual. Remember, the Lord Jesus is the bread and water; so when false teachers fail to see Him as the bread
and water and teach physical things, people are not hearing the words of the Lord.
Isaiah 41:17-20 "17
The poor and needy seek water, and none, their tongue faileth
for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.18 I will open rivers in high places, and
fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.19 I
will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir
tree, the pine, and the box tree together:20 That they see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand
of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it"
Freewill of man doctrine teachers
do not have water for God's poor chosen people, but God has promised that He will provide for His people and He does
it by bringing his salvation to our souls; we trust in Christ Jesus alone.
Psalm 132:13-16 "13 For the LORD
hath chosen Zion; he hath desired [it] for his habitation.14 This my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired
it.15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation:
and her saints shall shout aloud for joy"
Zion is God's chosen people: Isaiah 51:15-16 "15 But I
the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts his name.16 And I have put my words in thy mouth,
and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say
unto Zion: Thou my people"
Remember the Lord's prayer: Luke 11:1-3 "1 And it came to pass, that,
as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John
also taught his disciples.2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say:Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.3 Give us day by day our daily bread"
Verse
3 "Give us day by day our daily bread"
What kind of bread do you pray for? The Lord Jesus Christ
is the bread.
John 6:33-35 "33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life
unto the world.34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of
life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst"
John 6:47-48
"47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.48 I am that bread of life"
By
God's grace, I have been praying for my daily bread for a while, and my Heavenly Father has been faithful. He brings his truth
to my soul, heart and mind day by day.
Isaiah 12:2-3 "2 Behold, God my salvation; I will trust,
and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH my strength and song; he also is become my salvation.3 Therefore with joy shall ye
draw water out of the wells of salvation"
Psalm 27:1 "The LORD my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm
69:29 "But I poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high"
Today,
in every single congregation false teachers teach physical things because there is a famine, and this is according to the
will of God; His people will not be satisfied or filled when they hear all these lies (polluted bread) that false teachers
bring in the name of Jesus Christ.
Proverbs 20:17 "Bread of deceit: sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth
shall be filled with gravel"
Natural and religious men love to hear the freewill of
man doctrine, because it makes them believe they are in control of life and salvation; multitudes are eating this bread of
deceit.
Proverbs 23:6-7 "6 Eat thou not the bread of an evil eye, neither desire thou
his dainty meats:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart not with thee"
Verse 6 "an evil eye" cannot see the truth of God; cannot percieve the Lord Jesus Christ
is the Bread and Water.
"dainty meats" = doctrines of material and physical blessings.
Verse
7 "eat and drink" = to believe.
False teachers do not care about the salvation of the
soul, but their own material gain.
Isaiah 4:1 "And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man,
saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name,
to take away our reproach"
Every denomination has taken the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
to bring multitudes to them, but they bring their own bread (a false Christ begging man to believe) and they wear their own
apparel (salvation by works) and they are called Christians (followers of Jesus Christ).
I hope
your soul desires the true Bread from heaven: Jesus Christ my Lord.
Proverbs 22:9 "He that hath a bountiful
eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor"
Ecclesiastes 11:1 "Cast thy bread upon
the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days"
Waters = people. Bring the true Bread
to people and you will see Him (Jesus) and His salvation in the life of God's chosen people.
Isaiah 33:14-16
"13 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring
fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?14 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth
the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and
shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence, the munitions of rocks: bread shall be
given him; his waters sure"
Isaiah 55:1-2 "1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and
he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.2 Wherefore do
ye spend money for not bread? and your labour for satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye good, and let your
soul delight itself in fatness.3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting
covenant with you, the sure mercies of David"
The Lord Jesus Christ is the everlasting covenant,
the sure mercies of David.
Psalm 37:18-19 "18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and
their inheritance shall be for ever.19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be
satisfied"
