Everyone is a fool! It is a matter of knowing what kind of fool is each one of us. Let the Word of God show us this glorious
truth.
Psalm 14:1-3 "1 The fool hath said in his heart, no God. They are corrupt, they have
done abominable works, none that doeth good.2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were
any that did understand, seek God.3 They are all gone aside, they are together become filthy: none that doeth good, no, not
one"
There is a fool that does not believe that there is a God; but they have a fear of death,
a fear of the unknown. Even when many of them say they do not fear death, they do fear it. The fear of death is only remove
in the Lord Jesus Christ, when He shows His work on the cross for our souls; when we know He has chosen us to Salvation.
Listen
to Hebrews 2:10-18 "10 For it became him, for whom all things, and by whom all things, in bringing many sons unto glory,
to make the captain of their Salvation perfect through sufferings.11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified:
all of one; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,12 Saying: I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in
the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the
children which God hath given me.14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise
took part of the same; that through death he destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;15 And deliver them
who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.16 For verily he took not on angels; but he took on the
seed of Abraham.17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto brethren, that he be a merciful and faithful
high priest in things to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.18 For in that he himself hath suffered being
tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted"
listen to verse 15 "And deliver
them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" Them are His elect/chosen people and without
Christ we are in bondage through fear of death; man without Christ in his heart fears death.
Psalm
23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou with me; thy rod and
thy staff they comfort me"
Every man walks through the valley of the shadow of death, but
God's chosen people have His rod and staff to comfort us; this rod and staff is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Isaiah
11:1-2 "1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:2 And the
spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit
of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD"
Lets look another fool.
Luke
12:16-21 "16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:17
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?18 And he said, This
will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.19 And I will
say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry.20 But God
said unto him: fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee, then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?21
So [is] he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God"
This is a religious
fool that is trusting in his works, he finds peace on what he is doing. This fool is in Matthew 13:7 "And some fell among
thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them" The ground is the heart of man.
Matthew
13:22 "He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness
of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful"
This fool praises himself and not God,
that is what freewill of man doctrine teaches. Man boasts of making a decision for salvation or accepting Christ as Saviour,
he has his own freewill and does not know where to bestow his fruit; but to his own self. This fool is all about material
and physical blessings, that is where his heart is.
God's chosen people bestow our fruit in the
Lord Jesus Christ for His great Salvation of our souls.
Hebrews 13:15 "By him therefore let
us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips giving thanks to his name"
Psalm
51:15 "O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise"
Psalm 63:5
"My soul shall be satisfied as marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise with joyful lips
Isaiah
57:19 "I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to far off, and to near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him"
The last fool!
I Corinthians 1:26-31 "26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that
not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble,:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world
to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;28 and base
things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that
are:29 that no flesh glory in his presence.30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption:31 that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord"
I
Corinthians 4:10 "We fools for Christ's sake, but ye wise in Christ; we weak, but ye strong; ye honourable, but we despised"
I
proclaim God's Salvation, because that is what I have received: Salvation in Christ alone.
2 Corinthians
4:5 "For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake"
So,
what kind of fool are you?
I hope you are a fool for Christ; for those who are fools for Christ,
we have the mind of Christ.
I Corinthians 2:16 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that
he instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ"
And when we have the mind of Christ: we love
and trust the Creator.
Psalm 18:1-2 "1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD my
rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation,
my high tower"
Psalm 57:7 "My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and
give praise"
Psalm 108:1 "O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even
with my glory"
Psalm 112:7 "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed,
trusting in the LORD"
Isaiah 12:2-3 "2 Behold, God my salvation; I will trust, and not
be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH my strength and song; he also is become my salvation.3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water
out of the wells of salvation"
Jeremiah 9:23-24 "23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not
the wise glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty glory in his might, let not the rich glory in his riches:24 But let him
that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment,
and righteousness, in the earth: for in these I delight, saith the LORD"
Yes, I am a fool
for Christ! I proclaim His Salvation!
What about you?
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
